Ramiz Shaikh

Director & Registered Physiotherapist

Specializing in Post Operative care, chronic pain syndromes, Acupuncture / Dry needling, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and motor vehicle injuries.
Our mission is to deliver elite comprehensive and knowledgeable physiotherapy care. Our physiotherapy team is dedicated and focused on the assessment and treatment of conditions related to bone, muscle, and joint problems. We work in a team atmosphere to restore and maintain motion for long-term health benefits. Physiotherapists work with clients of all ages and all types of health conditions.

Our number one goal is to get the patient back to pre-injury status in the shortest, cost-effective manner. We offer the latest techniques and treatment options available to give the best care possible for each individual patient. Whether the patient’s goal is to heal an injury or improve overall health by increasing range of motion, strengthening muscles, or improving cardiovascular health.

Monica Gokhale

Registered Physiotherapist, BHscPT, HBSc., M.C.P.A.

Monica Gokhale is provides clinical care to clients as a registered physiotherapist. She has been a Registered Physiotherapist since 2001. Ms. Gokhale holds a Bachelor of Health Science degree in physiotherapy from McMaster University and an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in physiology from the University of Western Ontario. She has an ongoing interest in manual therapy and is currently working towards a degree in manipulative therapy. She has training in acupuncture and is working towards her certification (C.A.F.C.I.)

Since 2001, Monica has been working as a physiotherapist in the Long-Term Care field, in an outpatient OHIP clinic and at a private physiotherapy clinic. She also has experience working as a clinical coordinator in a busy, OHIP/private physiotherapy clinic. Her goals are to provide client-centered care with personalized treatment programs that ensure each client is pleased with their experience at the clinic. She takes pride in the successful clinical outcomes that her clients achieve.

Parth Dave

Registered Massage Therapist

Parth has completed his study from Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy. Along with CMTO, he is also an active member of RMTAO. Previously, he graduated from Mohawk College, Hamilton, ON where he received his diploma in Health, Wellness & Fitness.

As he has done his bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from India, he gained his experiences in cardio- pulmonary rehabilitation, Musculo- skeletal treatments and post stroke rehab. Throughout his career he has been working with multiple organizations including St. Joseph’s Health Care Hamilton, Local Health Integration Network(VON- Canada),  Life Mark Senior’s Wellness & Bayshore Therapy & Rehab where he achieved extensive knowledge for hands on therapy, Stretching, Strengthening, Pain Management, falls prevention, Geriatric Care, Dementia prevention Program & arthritis care. During his career he also worked with Canadian Red Cross as a First- Aid & CPR Instructor for two years.

 As a Massage Therapist he has vast knowledge on various muscle relaxation techniques, deep myofascial techniques, advanced techniques, trigger point technique, sports massage, head massage & friction especially in chronic diseases.

 In free time, he loves to listen music, play 8 ball pool & off course amuse himself on Instagram.

Vijendra (VJ) Tambekar

Registered Massage Therapist

Vijendra (VJ) graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2021. He also obtained a Health Wellness and Fitness Diploma from Mohawk College in 2014 and completed his bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in India in 2010.

VJ has completed multiple certificate courses in manual mobilization for all joints in the body along with neuromuscular facilitation for special populations, so that he can provide his patients with the best possible care. He enjoys treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries and has a keen interest in sports related injuries and would like to be a sports massage therapist in the future.

VJ has experience working with various age groups. He worked as a physiotherapy assistant for over 3 years and has also worked as a group fitness instructor and wellness coach at the YMCA Hamilton.

Outside of work, VJ likes playing cricket with his friends. He also enjoys going on motorbike trips and used to go on long trips in India. He is now working on getting his motorcycle license in Canada. VJ is a sociable person who enjoys learning about different cultures so that he can provide better care to all of his patients.


Dana Lawson

Registered Kinesiologist, B.Sc. Kinesiology
Dana graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in 1998, and has been a kinesiologist with the Physio-Care Services team since that time. Post-graduate interests have included functional ability testing, pre-employment screening, oncology rehabilitation, lumbar stabilization, chronic pain, balance re-training and various orthopedic courses. She enjoys integrating her skills and experience into the clinical setting to help a variety of patients regain and exceed their pre-injury levels. Dana is responsible for program development and supervision of clients in Physio-Care Services’ cancer rehabilitation program (CanSoar). She also has had extensive training with Fit to Work Testing, Drug and Alcohol Screening with certification from SureHire for pre-employment screening. Dana is a member in good standing with The College of Kinesiologists of Ontario and received a diamond award for kinesiologists voted by the Hamilton Spectator’s Reader’s Choice Awards for 2015.

Kiran Khristi

Physiotherapy Resident

Kiran delivers physiotherapy services to our clients as a Physiotherapy Resident. He holds bachelors degree in Physiotherapy from India. He graduated from Government Physiotherapy College, Gujarat University in 2014. He has experience working with people of all age groups with different Musculoskeletal, Cardio-pulmonary and Neurological conditions throughout his career. He also

completed Diploma in Health, Wellness and Fitness from Mohawk college in 2018.

He has worked as Physiotherapy Assistant for more than 3 years in different Long Term Care homes in Ontario with reputed organizations like Achieva Health and Universal Care Health Services. Throughout his career he has developed proficiency in hands on therapy and physical exercises. He believes in individualized treatment plans to achieve his clients goals. He uses combination of manual

therapy, postural education and exercise prescription to help patients to live a pain-free life. He loves watching movies and exploring new places in his leisure time.
